RWC Puzzle

WALT find specific information
WALT put information into our own words
WALT increase our knowledge of the Rugby World Cup

We created this because the World Cup was on.
We created this by answering questions which we found the information for on our class site.  We put the answers onto puzzle pieces, coloured them in, cut them out and then glued them onto black paper to make a rugby ball shaped puzzle.

it was easy gluing the the peaces the .The hard it was cutting it out.next time I could do the colouring more bitter .

WALT find the area of a shape in square centimetres .

we explore shapes by covering with square cm cubes and counting how many cubes to took to cover the shape Then we  drew shape on grid paper and content  how many how many cubes it took to cover our shapes
Reflection: Counting the squares was easy. Drawing the lines straight was hard.  it was hard making photos

Hauora

We are learning about hauora and that we each have 4 walls which we need to look after so that our
body and mind can be happy and healthy.

WALT organise our ideas in our writing into basic paragraphs so that we are only talking about one thing or person at a time.

My Family

My dad is called Tyler and he is a fisherman.   He grew up in Auckland.  My dad used to work at the Ramada. 

My mum’s name is Sheree.  My mum works at the Ramada.  She  used to to Auckland.In my family there are 5 people and 5 pets.

My big brother’s name is Vincent. He is 9 years old and he loves puppies.

My little little brother’s name is Credence. He is 2 years old.  He loves monster trucks and he goes to Kohanga.

My dog is a very bad dog because he scratches stuff.  My pet dog is called Papyrus. 
He likes playing with balls.

I love my family.


Reflection:
Two things I think I did really well were putting my keywords into sentences and that I had a lot of ideas for my mindmap.
Next time I need to work on putting my ideas into paragraphs which only talk about one person.
