beach day- smiles

The kids were swimming like a school of fish in the ocean.
The kids crashed in the waves  like an exploding TNT.
The kids were playing like happy kids in a park./

We created this because the World Cup was on.
We created this by answering questions which we found the information for on our class site.  We put the answers onto puzzle pieces, coloured them in, cut them out and then glued them onto black paper to make a rugby ball shaped puzzle.

RWC Puzzle

WALT find specific information

We created this because the World Cup was on.
We created this by answering questions which we found the information for on our class site.  We put the answers onto puzzle pieces, coloured them in, cut them out and then glued them onto black paper to make a rugby ball shaped puzzle.

it was easy gluing the the peaces the .The hard it was cutting it out.next time I could do the colouring more bitter .

finding area of the shape

WALT find the area of a shape in square centimetres .

we explore shapes by covering with square cm cubes and counting how many cubes to took to cover the shape Then we  drew shape on grid paper and content  how many how many cubes it took to cover our shapes
Reflection: Counting the squares was easy. Drawing the lines straight was hard.  it was hard making photos
